KazPetroDrilling JSC is the largest independent onshore drilling contractor in Kazakhstan who has been providing oilfield services since 1965.
KazPetroDrilling specializes in a wide range of services in the areas of drilling, workover, well abandonment, hydrodynamic fracture and cementing.
History of KazPetroDrilling JSC
On September 20, 2010 KazPetroDrilling JSC was registered as a legal entity in the legal form of the limited liability partnership.
On April 06, 2012 KazPetroDrilling JSC has changed its legal form to the joint stock company.  
On April 20, 2012 the issue of authorized shares of KazPetroDrilling JSC under the number 351-1910-02-AO was registered by the Committee for the Control and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan due to the reorganization of KazPetroDrilling JSC into the joint stock company.
The main types of activity of KazPetroDrilling JSC:
  • providing of the oilfield services; and
  • control over operating, financial and investment operations of its subsidiaries. 
KazPetroDrilling Today
  • Long standing relationship with Kazakhstan’s largest exploration and production companies;
  • Providing of the drilling and workover operations for KazMunaiGas and Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH with stable average revenue of US$ 450 m per year;
  • Focusing on operations on Emba, Uzen and Dunga fields, which constitutes 20% of 2012 total drilling volume in Kazakhstan;
  • Member of International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC);
  • Audit by Deloitte during 5 years according to IFRS.
